From Plettenberg Bay (east)

to Eastford Country Estate and Eastford Glen, Vale & Cove

Country bottom gate: 34° 1′ 9.2″ S
Country Top Gate: 34° 0′ 56.8″ S, 23° 1′ 33.4″
Glen Gate : 34° 1′ 11.1″ S, 23° 1′ 43.1″ E

  1. Drive west on the N2 towards Knysna.
  2. After descending into Knysna, follow the N2 through town.
  3. You are already leaving the centre of town when you have the lagoon directly on your left
  4. At the next traffic light turn right following signs to Eastford and Simola onto the Old Cape Road .
  5. Drive about 3 km uphill.
  6. The Eastford Estates will be on your right-hand side.
  7. At a small roundabout you follow first exit to Eastford Glen, Vale and Cove, the second exit takes you uphill to Eastford Country Estate. The bottom gate is about 50m on your left, while the top gate of the Eastford Country Estate is another steep but straight climb up.
  8. At the roundabout in front of the Simola gate with a huge arch turn 370 (!) degrees and you find a small road to your right when leaving the roundabout. This will bring you to the Eastford Country Estate top gate.

to Eastford Downs and Eastford Ridge

Down and ridge gate: 34° 1′ 21.7″ S, 23° 0′ 33.4″ E

  1. Drive west on the N2 towards Knysna.
  2. After descending into Knysna, follow the N2 through town.
  3. You are already leaving the centre of town when you have the lagoon directly on your left
  4. Pass the traffic light with the signs to Eastford and Simola and stay for another km on the N2.
  5. At the next traffic light turn right into Welbedacht Lane, signposted Webedacht, Kanonkop
  6. Follow the windy road 2 km uphill and then turn right to the gates of Eastford Ridge (right) and Eastford Downs shortly thereafter on the left.

From George (West)

to Eastford Country Estate and Eastford Glen, Vale & Cove

Country bottom gate: 34° 1′ 9.2″ S
Country Top Gate: 34° 0′ 56.8″ S, 23° 1′ 33.4″
Glen Gate : 34° 1′ 11.1″ S, 23° 1′ 43.1″ E

  1. Drive east on the N2 towards Knysna.
  2. After crossing the Knysna Lagoon bridge, continue straight towards Knysna town.
  3. At the second traffic light, turn left and follow signs to Eastford and Simola onto the Old Cape Road .
  4. Drive about 3 km uphill.
